Faction : Terran Alliance |
Description[]Initially a pipe dream of Hawker Industries' senior military designer Gabriel El'Koros, the Dreadnought is one of the largest classifications of military vessels. Gabriel felt that bigger ships were always better, and successfully petitioned the Navy of the Terran Satellite Charter (NTSC) to construct the Kollosal Class, the first generation of Dreadnought. This was eventually replaced by the venerable Titan class, which have stood the test of time and remain some of the most formidable fighting ships available to the NTSC. Like most Terran warships, the Titan is based around a modular design, allowing systems to be removed and added as needed. Thus, these ships now possess massive shielding systems and modern mass driver turrets, or even Aquan based laser weapons if desired. One of the older systems still present is its fearsome collection of prow mounted nuclear weapon launchers. The Titan is one of the most dangerous brawlers in the galaxy, working best as the range drops and its devastating guns are brought to bear. To the Terrans, a Titan is a visible reminder of the ingenuity, power and force of the Satellite Charter. For the Dindrenzi however, the Titan is symbolic of something else all together.... There are only 12 Titans in the Terran navy, they were built at the Mars Delphi Space Docks. TN Atlas (Assigned to Military Intelligence) TN Helios (Earth Defence Duties) TN Cronus (Earth Defence Duties) TN Hyperion (Assigned to Fathoms Reach) TN Prometheus (Assigned to Fathoms Reach) TN Oceanus (Assigned to Fathoms Reach) TN Eos (Under construction at Space Dock) TN Asteria (Under construction at Space Dock) TN Selene (Assigned to Military Intelligence) TN Perses (Under construction at Space Dock) TN Themis (Under construction at Space Dock) TN Astraeus (Assigned to Military Intelligence) |
